All Aboard The Christmas Train!

The Y5 and Kindergarten students have been singing and playing a Christmas train game. The question, “What do you want for Christmas?” is sung and answered by the children as their “train ticket.” The answers have been precious! Ask your child to share this song with you.
Thanksgiving Songs

Ask your child to share our poem “What shall we eat on Thanksgiving Day?” The turkey ran away and we have had some interesting ideas on other foods to eat. Some of the answers - venison, ham, lots of pie, and nachos! We will learn a Thanksgiving song to the tune of “Are You Sleeping” this week and dance the “Turkey Lurkey” dance.
What shall we put in the pumpkin stew?

Your child will bring this song home during Halloween week, along with a picture of what he/she will put in the pumpkin stew. Ask your child to sing this song for you! We have also been enjoying a circle game called “Bluebird.”
