After school practice for storytellers

Monday, December 8, there is after school practice for the students who are storytellers for our December 17th concert. Children will practice until 4:45pm in the music room. Tuesday, December 9, there is after school practice until 4:45pm for the students who are storytellers for our December 18th concert. Kids - make sure your part is memorized! See you then!
Adult helpers needed!

During the week of December 1st, we will be making lollipop props to use during one of our Christmas concert songs. The children will each color a paper plate. Parent help will be needed to attach craft stick handles to the plates with a hot glue gun. We will do this Monday-Friday anytime from 12:30-2:30. Second Grade Christmas Concert

Second Grade Sillies!

We are about to get the sillies in second grade with some nonsense songs. We are also working on sounding our best when we sing and playing with rhythm patterns. Ask your child to share a silly song from class with you!
Second Grade Preview

Welcome back awesome 2nd graders! Here are a few things we will do in music this year: Christmas concert in December, playing the Orff instruments (xylophone, metallophone), creating our own short songs, and playing lots of music games - like Mystery Composer!
