Honors Choir visits Oakridge

Honors Choir

Lat Friday, we traveled to Oakridge Upper Elementary school to meet and sing with our partner choir. Mrs. Ellingboe came with us and led us in some great activities to help us get to know one another. Thank you to Mrs. Laninga and Mrs. Prince for hosting us! Thanks to all honors choir students and families for supporting our school at Barnes and Noble last Friday. Your voices sounded wonderful! Thanks for being so flexible in a crowded performance and audience area.


Golden Recorder – Week of Jan.4 and Jan. 11

4th Grade

Mrs. Marcus’ class earned the golden recorder for the week of January 4th. Mrs. Smits’ class earned golden recorder for the week of January 11. All 4 classes are working toward creating a class composition to share with the West Michigan Symphony. We will videotape our work in March.


Barnes and Noble Event

Honors Choir

The Honors Choir will perform at the Barnes and Noble by the Lakes Mall on FRIDAY, JANUARY 15. Please wear your choir shirt. Meet Mrs. Ireland in the cafe area of the store at 6:20pm. We will perform after the Holmes student readers and poets. End time is 7:15pm. Transportation is on your own.
